Famous boxers fought with them: "Bomber Brown" Joe Louis, "Jersey" Joe Walcott and Rocky Marciano, three heavyweight champions in a row, all of them stood in the ring with Benlee boxing gloves and BenLee sports trousers. Other champions like Jake "The Raging Bull" La Motta, "Sugar" Ray Robinson and Floyd Patterson were also wearing Benlee. Benlee started producing boxing equipment in the 1930s, but withdrew from the shop in the 1960s. Punch GmbH wants to revive the tradition and in commemoration of Rocky Marciano, the best boxer of all time that was deceased in 1969, it has attached its name to "his" brand: BenleeRockyMarciano.
