All of our door stops are made from high quality materials, the double-sided adhesive is from the leading brand 3M. By following these simple tips, you will achieve a perfect fixation: choose the right place for installation. Clean the floor thoroughly. For wooden floors with a slightly damp cloth and then dry completely. For patio floors, clean with a cloth moistened in alcohol and also dry well. Remove the protective film. Do not touch the adhesive surface with your fingers. Make sure you choose the right place and attach the stopper exactly there. Very important: press the stopper firmly to achieve better adhesion, and avoid shifting it after installation. The adhesive may lose adhesion if the stopper is moved after installation. Do not let the door hit the stopper with force for the first 24 hours. The adhesive reaches its full effect after 24 hours. In addition, the manufacturer recommends 3M to heat the adhesive slightly before applying (e.g. with a hair dryer) to make it softer in the short term. * Use on rough or textured terrace floors is not recommended. For such surfaces - or if you simply want an even stronger attachment - we recommend our models with screw base (duo or screw models). These can be easily attached with the included screw and dowel.
