Product Description

Timber Wolf woodscrews are heavy-duty screws featuring the strength, speed and usability to get the job done quickly and easily. These multi-purpose screws can be used for fixing hard wood, soft wood, man-made timber boards (e.g. MDF, plywood, chipboard & OSB) and sheet metal. The patented HEXSTIX drive system enables smooth, stable driving and one-handed installation. The six-lobe design ensures maximum torque transfer from the drill to the screw. Every box of Timber Wolf screws contains a high-quality impact style driver bit. Once the screw is engaged to the driver bit, the patented recess design gives a Stick-Fit connection that 'locks' the screws to the bit, allowing one-handed driving. One-handed driving allows the free hand to position whatever is being fixed into exactly the required position. Timber Wolf screws also feature heavy-duty design and construction. A thick core gives more strength through the body of the screw and under the head area. Simply put, more metal is used when manufacturing these screws versus the competition. The Type-17 ‘slash’ style point drives through even the toughest timbers without the need for pre-drilling. The prominent single thread allows for a rapid start, immediate thread engagement and strong holding power. The screws also feature a double-angle countersunk head with under-head ribs. This ensures a neat, flush finish in the timber every time. Although the included HEXSTIX Stick-Fit driver bits are recommended for optimal performance, the recess on these screws is also 100% compatible with standard T20 driver bits.
