Lonsdale Men's St.Agnes Shirt
Product Description
The Lonsdale brand was founded in 1960 by 22-year-old British boxer Bernhard Hart in London. Namesake for his brand was Hugh Lowther, 5th Earl of Lonsdale (1857-1944), who made a name for himself in modern boxing sport in the 1890s. Hugh Lowther was a founding member of the National Sporting Club, which under strict rules aimed public boxing fights, and thus contributed to social recognition of boxing. In 1960, Bernhard Hart opened the first Lonsdale shop on Beak Street, in the middle of Soho district. Since then, well-known professional boxers such as Muhammad Ali, Henry Cooper, Sugar Ray Robinson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis and Ricky Hatton have worn and worn the Lonsdale brand. Still today, these famous personalities and key milestones from the brand's history play a major role and continue to emerge in the modern designs of the now extensive product line.
