Shimano EW-SD50 Di2 E-Tube Electric Cable is used to connect STEPS and DI2 components, supplies them with power and transmits interactive signals. The cable is waterproof and weatherproof. The connection to the corresponding E-Tube ports is very easy via Plug and Play, just plug it in and you're done. Thanks to the Plug and Play connections of the E-TUBE platform and the D-FLY wireless connections, it is easier than ever to check the status of the system and apply customised settings for DI2 and Shimano Steps components using a PC, tablet or smartphone. Functions such as Shimano Synchronized Shift can be adjusted wirelessly via Bluetooth while riding. An automatic check for firmware updates is performed at every start-up to ensure that all components are running the latest version. PC, smartphone and tablet apps facilitate quick fault diagnosis and simplify the repair process. Beautiful visual implementation of Shimano Steps real-time ride data on your smartphone.
